Beavs look forward to challenge at Cal

Don't expect the Oregon State football team to be intimidated this weekend when it takes on No. 2 California in Berkeley.

"It's just a number," said OSU defensive end Victor Butler at Tuesday's press conference. "We've just got to prepare like it's another Pac-10 game."

Make no mistake though, Cal (5-0 overall, 2-0 Pac-10) will be OSU's (3-3, 1-2) toughest opponent to date and is coming off its bye week.

"It's going to be a big challenge," said OSU coach Mike Riley. "They are a very good team all the way through from special teams, offense and to their defense. We'll have to play a terrific game in that gave in order to give ourselves a chance."
