Ducre to get shot at No. 1

As Mississippi State prepares for this week's non-conference tilt with UAB, Sylvester Croom said the focus of the Bulldogs' practices will be on the little things. As Croom see's it, his team's lack of execution of the finer details was the key reason the Bulldogs failed to win on the road at Columbia last weekend.

"Our emphasis this week is working towards doing the little things right all the time," said Croom Tuesday. "In our conference, as tight as the competition-level is, a play here or a play there or missed technique can cost you the ball game despite playing with great effort or great intensity in long stretches of time."
