Rank Player The Analysis Last Week
1 Limas Sweed Sweed is probably playing through more pain than anyone realizes, but it didn't seem to matter on Saturday night. The senior receiver set a career high with 139 yards and two scores, and he simply toyed with the Rice defensive backs. The Horns need Sweed to stay as healthy as possible through the next few weeks. 2 Lamarr Houston It's funny to think back to when Houston was being recruited, there was some question on if he was athletic enough to play at a high level, especially after a subpar Nike Camp showing. The sophomore has answered all questions with his performance so far, and he was all over the place on Saturday night, with four tackles for loss and four hurries.

3 Frank Okam Okam didn't put up big numbers against Central Florida, but he bounced back against Rice to record two sacks, one quarterback hurry and one pass break-up. With conference play heating up and the level of opponent moving up a notch, Texas will need Okam to play well consistently. N/A
