USC players expect to 'Shock The World'
When told few people were giving South Carolina much of a chance to knock off No. 2 LSU Saturday on its home field in Baton Rouge, Cory Boyd responded quickly.
"They said the same thing about Georgia," Boyd blurted.
In the eyes of Boyd and the rest of the Gamecock players, their 16-12 victory Sept. 8 over the nationally ranked Bulldogs before a hostile and ill-disposed crowd at Sanford Stadium demonstrates they're more than capable of marching into Tiger Stadium and ending LSU's 15-game home winning streak.
It's been nearly two years since the Tigers last lost at home - an overtime 30-27 setback to Tennessee in September of 2005. In fact, it's been a while since LSU lost any football game.
