Dawgs back on the practice field
The Georgia Bulldogs are on the practice fields this morning in hot muggy conditions to begin week to of fall camp 2007, and there were a few changes in who was dressed out and who was in the non-contact jersey.
As the team began the first of two practice sessions today, the following fell into the following categories.
Dressed out but in a non-contact jersey: Cornerback Bryan Evans (hamstring), guard Scott Haverkamp (sprained ankle), tackle Chester Adams (high ankle sprain), receiver Mikey Henderson (hip pointer), tight end Tripp Chandler (rib cartilage), tackle Chris Little (broken wrist).
The following did not dress out: receiver Kris Durham (unknown) and defensive tackle Ricardo Crawford (heat issues on Friday).
The following dressed out in full pads that previously did not: defensive tackle Brandon Wood and safety John Knox.
Guard Tanner Strickland (foot sprain) dressed out, but was still on crutches with a brace/boot on his foot and did not participate.
Head coach Mark Richt and offensive players are set to meet with the media following the morning practice. This afternoon the team practices again but will be in shells and not full pads.
