Friday Night Practice Report
The Crimson Tide closed out the second installment of two-a-days with a relatively light workout on Friday night in shorts and shoulderpads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
Defense works on technique in evening session
The Crimson Tide defense closed out its first full week of fall camp with a return to fundamentals as the Tide coaching staff worked with the defensive units on refining basic skills during individual drills.
The young defensive line did some agility drills that focused on improving footwork and exploding off the line.
Kevin Steele worked with the linebackers walking them through some of the many blitz packages in the Tide's new defense.
Meanwhile, head coach Nick Saban worked with the defensive backs on proper tackling form continuing the emphasis this week on physical play in the secondary.
