Q&A: Anthony Felder

A Rivals.com Freshman All-American in 2005, Cal junior linebacker Anthony Felder is itching to get back into the starting lineup. With Fall camp closing in and the start of the regular season just a month away, BearTerritory sat down with Felder to get his thoughts on SEC football, position battles amongst the Bears' linebacking core and his biggest improvement since becoming a Division I athlete.

Felder busted onto the scene in 2005, wowing fans with his consistent play and earning the respect of opponents as an athletic, instinctive defender roaming the middle of the Cal defense. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound former four-star recruit racked up 39 tackles during his first campaign, 25 of them solo which accounted for eighth best on the Bears' defense that season.
