Boykin's still solid & excited after JR Day

Out of the group of recruits Georgia had on campus Saturday for Junior Day a few of them came in as commitments. One of those committed to UGA that was visiting was Brandon Boykin. Boykin had a chance to learn more about the program, meet some future teammates, find out what UGA expected of him and more during his visit. This Peach State defensive back left very excited about being a Bulldog commitment.

"Man, I had a real good time at Georgia," said Boykin. "I got to see a lot more than I saw last time, so that was great. I saw the dorms, the classrooms, the academic center - they just us about everything and it was real nice."

"I loved the dorms - they were like hotel rooms. I really liked how they kept everyone together like defense and offense. The academic center was nice too - it will be very helpful. One thing that I really loved was the 24-hour cafeteria. I am not sure any other school has that, but I loved that."

Another thing Boykin loved was when he got to spend some time with his future teammates.

"I hung out with Makiri Pugh a lot," said Boykin. "We spent most of the day together and our families talked a lot too. He was real cool and I am happy we can play in the defensive backfield together."

"I also met Christian Robinson and he was a real cool guy too. We all three just started talking to other recruits there telling them Georgia is the place. I have been working on my teammate Matt Daniels for a while, but I will start working on other guys now too. I think all the commitments will."
