Bulldogs make late surge for hoops star
The Mississippi State basketball team has seen many changes in recent weeks, thus affecting the recruiting strategy. They went from being one offer short, then to a surplus of two with the departure of three players, then to a plus one with a recent late signing. Like a kid in a candy shop with fifty cents burning a hole in his pocket, coach Rick Stansbury is once again on the recruiting trail, but the big question is when this particular player would be able sign.
"They offered me last week," commented Concord, N.C., shooting guard Demarquis Bost, more affectionately known as Dee. "They saw me play in Pittsburgh at the Jam Fest."
