USC going on Green

Robby Green, the stand-out cornerback from River Ridge (La.) John Curtis High School, is becoming a hot commodity for the University of Southern California.

He is one of two true cornerbacks in the country to have an official scholarship offer from USC, and coach Pete Carroll seems bent on bringing the 6-foot, 175-pounder to Los Angeles.

"I got to talk with coach Pete Carroll, he said he wants me to come down there and contribute and help them win another national championship," Green said.

"I took that with great consideration," Green bluntly said about the proposition.
