The Players: 14 John Parker Wilson, 17 Greg McElroy, 15 Jimmy Barnes*

Spring scrimmage stats: In Alabama's three controlled scrimmages, Wilson completed 40 of 94 passes with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. McElroy completed 40 of 81 passing attempts in the Tide's three scrimmages, scoring 1 touchdown and throwing 2 interceptions. Barnes did not participate in any of the Tide's scrimmages as he recovered from knee surgery.
2006 Season: Wilson: started 13 games, 216 of 379 for 2707 yards, 83 yards rushing, 17 touchdowns, 10 interceptions; Barnes: played in one game, 6 of 11 for 45 yards, 1 touchdown; McElroy: redshirted in 2006
