Singleton Still Likes Vols, But in No Rush

It's been obvious since last fall that Bruce Pearl and his staff were aiming high when it came to 2008 recruiting targets. The Vols are chasing a number of high-profile prospects in that class, with Georgia's Chris Singleton standing out as one of the primary targets among a handful of talented players.

Singleton (6-foot-9, 215 pounds) showed up on the Vols' radar early and the staff's concerted efforts paid dividends with some serious interest on his part as the recruiting process unfolded.

The versatile forward made two unofficial visits to Knoxville during the season, and at least partly as a result of those visits, Tennessee jumped to the top of his list of favorites, a spot the Vols would love to hold onto.
