Top-ranked class to remain intact

Last November, Rivals.com tabbed the Kansas State recruiting class as the nation's best class. Now, less than one week after Bob Huggins has departed for his alma mater, the recruiting class has made their intentions known. After the hiring of Frank Martin as coach of the Wildcats, GoPowercat.com was able to get comments from all four prospects or their families about their future plans.

Top-ranked prospect Michael Beasley's mother, Fatima Smith, was the first to chime in on the future plans of the 6-foot-9, 235-pound power forward.

The resolution Smith spoke of was K-State being able to retain Dalonte Hill, the assistant who originally secured a commitment from Beasley at UNC-Charlotte while coaching there before drawing him to Manhattan after taking a job under Huggins at K-State.
