A tough attitude?

While the weather seems to suggest that March is about to go out like a lion instead of a lamb, the Oklahoma State footballers are continuing spring drills. Here's a rundown of what happened on the grass field Wednesday afternoon:

ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT
With OSU's spring camp halfway over, coach Mike Gundy said he likes what he's seen from his players on the field.

It's the team's attitude, however, that's been the most encouraging sign of things to come.

"Football's a tough game," Gundy said. "If you're not having fun, you're not going to get much better. But these guys are enjoying themselves, having a lot of fun, and that's why they're improving."

Senior receiver Adarius Bowman said players' attitudes toward each other have also helped the Cowboys improve since this past season.

"The guys around here are a lot more comfortable around each other, and being more comfortable around a person allows you to trust them a lot more," Reid said. "Guys know that the guy to the right or left of them is willing to go all the way with them every day."
