Spring Ball Preview: Offensive Line

One of the most difficult players to replace this season will be All-American center Ryan Kalil.

Kalil started in the middle of the offensive line for three years and could be selected in the first round of the upcoming NFL Draft. The USCFootball.com spring preview of the offensive line will discuss replacing Kalil as well as the other positions across the line.

It will be impossible to replace the experience of Kalil, considering he worked with Heisman Trophy winners Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush. He had a great understanding of the offense and the protection schemes and practically never delivered a bad snap.

Last fall there were times when Kalil was held out of practice and the Trojans got their first glimpse of what life would be like without him. The quarterback/center exchange became an adventure no matter who took his place and Coach Pat Ruel will do all he can to eliminate any snapping problems this spring.
