Huskers have clear shot

Every year the Golden State produces some of the premier high school quarterbacks in the nation and it is not any different this recruiting cycle. Out of the Rivals250 to watch for the class of 2008, three come from California.

Possibly the best is Dayne Crist from Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. The 6-foot-5, 221-pound pro-style quarterback has enough scholarship offers now to make a decision, but more are likely coming his way.

Crist is waiting for USC to possibly offer him; however, that doesn't make them a lock for his commitment, as he has plans to see other top Division I programs.
