Spring will be important for wide receivers

As an integral part of offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes' new pass-heavy offensive scheme, Arizona's wide receivers will all get a great opportunity to show what they can really do this spring. And, as the scheme will call for lots of four and five-wide sets, depth becomes as important as ever.

The two receivers on the roster with the most on-field experience are Mike Thomas and Anthony Johnson.

Thomas exploded onto the scene in the 2005 season with his blazing speed and quickness and quickly became the Wildcats' leading receiver, finishing the season with 771 yards and five touchdowns.
