A look at UCLA recruiting - Part II

Due to graduation of Brandon Breazell, Joe Cowan, and Marcus Everett the wide receiver position will be one area that the Bruins will concentrate their efforts on. At the moment they have offered four players at that position and they are in the process of evaluating more so don't be surprised to see more wide receivers get Bruins offers in the near future. The players are listed in alphabetical order and by position.

It wouldn't shock anybody if wide receiver Kemonte Bateman (6-0, 171, 4.48) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw commits to the Bruins in the very near future. Crenshaw is becoming almost a feeder school to UCLA and that tie will only get stronger with the hiring of Eric Scott as the new wide receiver coach. Bateman is a polished well schooled wide receiver much of that is due to Scott being his coach at Crenshaw. Bateman has some questions regarding his academics , but he has the right stuff to get the job done in the classroom.
