If Oklahoma State was on the bubble going into Wednesday night's game, Texas A&M might have been holding the needle to burst it.
The loud popping sound in Gallagher-Iba Arena was OSU's post-season chances likely ending, as the Aggies marched into Stillwater and gig'ed left and gig'ed right and gig'ed all over the place as A&M defeated the Cowboys 64-44 in front of a national TV audience on ESPN2.
The game was just ugly all around for OSU (19-8 overall, 5-7 Big 12), as 12,179 fans in orange watched as A&M (23-4, 11-2) ran around, cut through and rebounded over a Cowboy team which looked lost most of the game.
Things didn't get off to a good start for OSU, as the Aggies jumped out to an 11-4 lead nine minutes into the first half.
That lead eventually grew as the first period continued, as A&M extended that lead to 32-19 with a little over two minutes to go in the first half.
