Strong talks his visit to Georgia

The University of Georgia had a number of prospects on campus this weekend and one of them was Peach State linebacker Tristan Strong. Strong has already picked up a couple SEC offers and the Bulldogs have been showing some early in him also. We caught up with Strong to see what he had to say about his visit to Athens.

"It was a fun visit and I really enjoyed it," said Strong. "I got a chance to see the East Campus Village, the dorms, and check out some of the things I haven't seen before."

Strong had a chance to talk with the Georgia linebacker's coach on Saturday as well.

"I talked to Coach John Jancek and he was real nice," he said. "He had come by my school a couple times in January, so I already knew who he was. We talked about family, basketball, and things like that. We didn't talk too much about football."

He had visited Athens before, so he didn't see much he didn't already know about.

"I had heard the academic presentation, see a lot of the campus, and all that before, so nothing was really new for me today. Going to the basketball game and walking into the stadium was probably the highlights for me. It was a lot of fun."

Two SEC programs have already extended offers to this Georgia linebacker, but the third hasn't arrived yet.
