Tide offers in-state DE

For a high school program that will only be entering its seventh year of existence next fall, Hoover's Spain Park has produced some heavy-hitting Division I prospects such as Auburn quarterback Neil Caudle and Duke offensive lineman Robert Drum. The most highly recruited athlete in the school's brief history, however, may be a junior with offers already from Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech and Duke. His latest offer came from the Crimson Tide this week.

William Green, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound defensive end, is the catalyst for coach John Grass and his Jaguars squad.
