Locksley recruiting Maryland back

This weekend Illinois expects a handful of visitors on campus unofficially for a junior day. Lamaar Thomas, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound running back from Ft. Washington (Md.) Friendly, might win the award for farthest distance traveled from home. When Thomas does arrive in Champaign he'll find plenty of familiar faces.

Even though Illinois has plenty of contacts with Thomas, don't expect a cakewalk for his commitment. His favorite schools include Illinois, Maryland, Tennessee and Ohio State.
