Murphy talks about four-star ranking

When Ryan Murphy committed to Kansas back on June 8, 2006, he was a two-star prospect that hadn't received much attention throughout his recruitment. Things have certainly changed for the 5-foot-10, 171-pound cornerback from Lawrence (KS) Free State High School. Rivals.com recently bumped Murphy up to a four-star prospect, and he couldn't be any happier. Jayhawk Slant just spoke to Murphy about his new ranking and how he found out.

Murphy, the No. 5 ranked player in the state of Kansas, was simply outstanding throughout his senior campaign at Lawrence Free State. Offensively, he rushed for over 1,000 yards, passed for over 1,800 yards and scored 33 touchdowns.
