Nate Garth transfers to Texas
"I'm still very interested in the University of Washington," said 6-foot-3 guard Nate Garth, who recently transferred from Capital Christian (CA) to Woodrow Wilson (TX) High School. The primary reason for the trek to Texas was because of a job opportunity for the Garth family. A change in schools also carries with it a change for Nate on the basketball court.
"We have the stiffest competition in Texas," Garth said of the opposing teams he and his high school team will face. With that in mind, Garth is hoping to help his team turn their current 9-10 record around so they can make the journey to Austin, TX for the state tournament.
