Longhorns trying to steal one from OU

Just when you think you have everything pegged in recruiting, something happens that shakes everything up.

For months it has looked like the Texas Longhorns were almost completely finished on the recruiting front, but events that have transpired over the last two months have changed the dynamics for this year's recruiting class.

The Longhorns are suddenly a player once again in recruiting for the 2007 recruiting class and their next target is a current Oklahoma commitment.

Round Rock (Texas) High athlete James Kirkendoll confirmed on Monday that he will take an official visit to Austin this weekend and if things go well, he'll be a member of the Longhorn football program on National Signing Day.
