Brown checks out UNC on official visit
Maple Heights (OH) wide receiver Charles Brown became the most recent Buckeye State native to make an official visit to North Carolina, arriving on Friday and staying until Sunday afternoon.
"Well, we took a tour around the campus, the facilities and all that. They showed us around; they showed us a lot of stuff. It was real fun; I liked it," said Brown, who recorded the top 40-yard dash among all WRs at the Columbus, OH Nike Training Camp in May 2006, with a time of 4.49 seconds.
When asked what he liked best about the visit to Chapel Hill, Brown indicated the interaction with the UNC coaching staff, and the chance to hang out with fellow Maple Heights High graduate, and current Tar Heel, Richard Quinn.
