Exclusive Video: Strickland in All-Star game
Georgia commitment Tanner Strickland is already on campus and getting ready to compete in the spring for playing time later on this fall. Strickland played one final game before moving to Athens in early January and that was the Georgia North-South All-Star game. UGASports.com was there and we have this exclusive video.
Prospect: Tanner Strickland
High School: Berrien County (Nashville, Ga.)
Position: Offensive Line (Guard or Center)
Vitals: 6-4, 328-pounds
Offers: Committed to Georgia when they offered before his junior season.
Favorites: Already enrolled at UGA and will sign in February.
The Skinny: Strickland is a very athletic interior lineman. He could play guard or center in Athens. He has good feet, he is very agile, he has great strength, and he uses his hands well. Strickland has room to improve across the board, but he is an athletic lineman with a lot of potential.
Strickland played in the Georgia North-South All-Star game late in December before moving to Athens on January 2. He really stepped up his game and played at a high level.
He spent time at right tackle and right guard during this game and had a very good performance. You will see video from the top and from the sideline. This video will give you a good look at one of the lineman you will see battling for playing time in Athens come March.
