All American Diary: Jordan Bernstine

Future Hawkeye Jordan Bernstine was in Orlando this week to play in the East Meets West All American Game, televised by ESPNU this afternoon. HawkeyeReport.com caught up with the 5-foot-10, 200-pound Bernstine, who had five tackles today, for a Q&A session following the all-star game.

Q: How did you think it went today?

BERNSTINE: It went good. We all had a lot of fun. We were out there just playing football and we got the win. That's what you're out there for.

Q: I saw your team was dumping Gatorade on the coaches after the win. Was it a pretty fun atmosphere down there this week?

BERNSTINE: Oh yeah, we had a lot of fun during the week. I mean at practice, you've got to get down and dirty, but we had fun and afterwards we all hung out and got to know each other.

Q: How did you think you played today?

BERNSTINE: I thought I did well. We were rotating every four plays, so it was kind of hard to get into rhythm, but you've just got to go out and play football.
