Farewell, 2 arms?

Never in the history of college football have the top two picks in the draft been quarterbacks who have faced off in their final bowl game.

Of course, there is no way to know if that will happen in the 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl for a few more months, but the possibility is there.

Brady Quinn and JaMarcus Russell met only once prior to this week, at an awards banquet in Columbus, Ohio. However, their names may be linked together for the next four months in the vein of Manning/Leaf and Couch/McNabb, as draftniks, and more importantly the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions, mull the possibilities.
