Commitment No. 27

The ball keeps on rolling for the Nebraska Husker coaching staff. Wednesday, they signed what was arguably the finest group of junior college players for the early signing date. They are still looking for another tight end, defensive tackle and at least one more offensive tackle. The one goal has been met. Which position was it?

HuskersIllustrated.com last checked with offensive tackle Marcel Jones's mother just after she and her son visited the University of Nebraska. It was evident that their visit went better than it was expected and Marcel could be close to making a decision. Due to Marcel now playing basketball and attending practice, she said that it would be a few days before the family would have a chance to make a firm decision upon destination. That decision has been made.

During his official visit to Nebraska his host was another offensive lineman - Keith Williams. Nebraska coach Bill Busch was his recruiting coach and coach Wagner will be his position coach. Jones had other scholarship offers from Arizona State and Oregon State.
