Carswell set for visit No. 2

One of the top prospects in California, Brandon Carswell of Milpitas has put recruiting on hold to focus on his senior season. That plan paid off for the 6-foot-1, 172-pound receiver prospect, as he quarterbacked Milpitas to the Central Coast Section Large School Division Championship for the first time in 36 years. Now that the goal is attained, Carswell is turning his attention to where he'll spend his college years. Duck Sports Authority talked with him about his plans.

Carswell made a big contribution to his team's championship.

"We're done. We won our championship," he said. "We're in CCS large school division and we won against Piedmont Hills 39-21. I did well. I believe it was 229 yards rushing and three touchdowns and then 134 yards passing with one touchdown. It was a good game."
