Walkup steadily coming back from summer injury

It's been a long road back to the court for Deer Park guard/forward Nathan Walkup. The Texas A&M signee broke a bone in his ankle over the summer and has been working hard to get back on the court for his senior season.

Mission accomplished.

However, the 6-foot-7, 200-pound prospect now realizes that getting back on the court is just the first step in his total recovery.

But with the ankle not a factor and the Deer Park native rounding into shape, his game that earned him a scholarship to A&M will be back sooner rather than later, which will help out his high school team.
