Prister's Preview: Notre Dame vs. UCLA

Intermingled amidst the numerous rivalries on the Fighting Irish football schedule is an unlikely and improbable visitor to Notre Dame Stadium-the UCLA Bruins.

The two schools have met just twice on the football field-1963 and 1964-with both games played in Notre Dame Stadium. Both teams won just two games in '63, with the Irish claiming a 27-12 victory over the Bruins. Ara Parseghian's first Irish squad shut out UCLA in '64 by a 24-0 score.
