Woodland becoming a regular at Mizzou
St. Louis receiver Rolandis Woodland< has been on the edge of a commitment to Missouri for a couple of weeks now. Woodland made his second consecutive trip to see the Tigers play over the weekend.
Woodland has told PowerMizzou.com in the past that he wants to commit to Mizzou. However, his father is encouraging him to take some other visits and see what out of state schools have to offer.
It is easy to see why so many colleges are showing interest in Woodland. In his first year at Rockwood Summit, he has been a difference maker on offense. Last week against Eureka, Woodland had seven catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned two kickoffs for 58 yards. Through five games, Rockwood Summit is 3-and-2 and Woodland is averaging better than 20 yards per reception.
Woodland said if he takes other trips that Michigan State, Tennessee, UCLA, Nebraska and Minnesota would be the schools most likely to get an official visit. But at this point, his schedule seems to be pretty full.
