We meet again...

Kansas State head coach Ron Prince loves competitive tension. But this tension is a little bit different. It's about the same feeling you'd expect here during Kansas or Nebraska week. Just change the names and uniforms. Make no mistake: After splitting the first two meetings in history, the third and final go around between Kansas State and Marshall in this wacky three-game non-conference series is made for television.

Some teams play for a trophy. These two teams play for something different. They play for squatter rights at midfield. In the other team's stadium. Think of David Stern coming home to catch Mark Cuban pouring grape juice on his living room rug. Yes, it's something like that.

That's not tension. That's lunacy.
