When it rains, it pours: Bradford out indefinitely
Stanford senior receiver Mark Bradford is lost indefinitely after tearing a ligament in his right foot on the second play of the Cardinal's loss to San Joe State on Saturday. Bradford's loss adds to what's been a very disappointing beginning of the season for Stanford fans.
6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, Bradford came into the 2006 season with 1,678 yards on 108 catches and 10 touchdowns. He's started all but five games in his Stanford career.
In the season opener against Oregon, Bradford caught nine passes for 108 yards and a touchdown. He was expected to team up with Evan Moore to form one of the top wide receiver duos in the country.
