Grigsby back in action

Instead of playing a starring role last week in Iowa's win over Montana, Herb Grigsby spent his afternoon like 70,000 other fans, sitting in the stands watching the game. This week, Grigsby is back in action for the Hawkeyes after a week's suspension. He talks about his lesson learned, what it was like sitting in the stands, the performance of the young receivers, and much more.

Q: Did the students give you any grief down there?

GRIGSBY: I met a couple people. I've got a couple new friends, but for the most part it was okay.

Q: But frustrating, I suppose?

GRIGSBY: Yes, very frustrating. Very frustrating.

Q: What was that perspective like, sitting in the stands?

GRIGSBY: You sit there and you want to do something, but you can't. The team came out, they performed well and got the win. That's the biggest thing.

Q: Coach says the punishment's over, we move on. Is that the way you see it too at this point?

GRIGSBY: Yes. What's happened, happened. The punishment's been taken care of and now it's time to move on, forward to the next game.
