Reier's Review: Thursday AM Quick Hits
*The Alabama Crimson Tide got its third two-a-day of fall camp underway with a full-pad practice this morning.
*True freshman free safety Justin Woodall went down early with a left ankle injury during individual drills. Woodall was helped from the practice field by a pair of trainers. An update on his status will likely come following this afternoon's practice when Mike Shula is expected to address the media.
*As sharp as the offense looked for much yesterday's practice, it was just as ineffective this morning. The defense turned it up a notch after giving up a number of big plays on Wednesday.
*Cornerback Simeon Castille set the tone at the start of 7-on-7, blanketing Keith Brown on a deep ball that Brown hauled in out of bounds. Castille followed that up by breaking up a pass to Will Oakley, who was running a crossing route, on the next snap.
*Quarterback John Parker Wilson completed... his afternoon at 3:30.
