Running backs featured in shortened practice

The fifth practice for the Arizona Football team was cut short Tuesday evening due to a thunderstorm moving into the area. The Wildcats had just finished truncated individual drills when the moved onto a quick seven-on-seven scrimmage. It was apparent that the running game is the area in most need of work as near every play was a running one.

Despite evaluating the players on limited carries it was apparent that walk-on Chris Jennings made the most of his opportunities. Jennings had several nice runs and continues to display elusiveness in breaking through the line.

He has a very low center of gravity and runs with a lot of strength making him a very tough target to bring down. Jennings has definitely been a pleasant surprise throughout Fall Camp.
