Five questions for fall camp

Five days from the start of fall camp, we take a look at the five most pressing issues facing the Tigers over the next month. Saturday morning marks Mizzou's first practice and PowerMizzou.com will be at every single one leading up to the opening kickoff against Murray State. Here are the five questions to which we want the answers before Mizzou kicks off against the Racers.

Who steps to the front at running back?

Quite simply, this is the most pressing question facing the team. The Tigers have a bunch of running backs who seem like they might be good if they stay healthy. The top three have all shown flashes of potential and Connell Davis< has been talked up all winter. But not one of these guys has separated himself from the pack by consistently putting up solid numbers. Someone has to do it this month.

How much has the offense changed?

We'll ignore, for now, whether the offense will be better or worse without Brad Smith. I just need proof that it will be different. The Tigers ran a one-man show on offense the last few years. Get in a pinch and everyone in the stadium knew who was getting the ball. That should change this year. Dave Christensen has caught a lot of heat in the last four years. This season, you'll find out how much of it he deserved.
