Corners have experience

Arkansas has excellent numbers in the secondary. Even with the transfer of Michael Coe, who has several starts at cornerback, Arkansas still returns three players with significant starting experience.

2004 starter Darius Vinnett returns after knee problems sidelined him last year. Depth is so good that Michael Grant, who also had starts at cornerback, was moved to free safety to shore up problems at that spot. The three key backups all have playing experience and have eight years of eligibility left between them. Cornerbacks coach Bobby Allen looks to have his troops prepared for the season.
