From Blue to Big Red

There is no doubt that the University of Nebraska has become a major player for football prospects in the state of Texas for this recruiting cycle. The NU staff had already garnered the commitments of a safety and a tight end from the Lone Star state, and now they've added a cornerback.

This 5-foot-10, 172-pounder recently visited Lincoln with his father and he came away very impressed. Enough so to give the Huskers their seventh verbal of the 2007 class tonight.

Blue had an offer from Baylor, who was willing to let him run track. Nebraska is leaning toward the same direction.
