Is an early decision in the works for Fleming?

Highland Springs, Va., cornerback C.J. Fleming (5-foot-10, 165 pounds, 4.48 seconds) is one of the best defensive backs in the state of Virginia for 2007. Fleming, who now holds 11 scholarship offers, visited Virginia and N.C. State on back-to-back weekends. The Cavaliers continue to recruit Highland Springs High School even though they have had little success there. Is this the year that UVa breaks through and lands a Springer?


"I was really impressed by Virginia last weekend. I visited UVa last fall for the Florida State game but I didn't really tour the facilities or the campus. I have always heard great things about the campus but I really got to see everything close up last weekend," said Fleming.


Fleming is being recruited by Virginia assistant Mike Groh. Last weekend, Fleming spent time with his lead recruiter, defensive backs coach Steve Bernstein, defensive coordinator Mike London and head coach Al Groh.
