Minnesota LB has Cyclone offer

Eden Prairie (Minn.) linebacker Blake Sorensen made the most of his one day at Iowa State's padded camp. As first reported on the ISU Confidential message board just minutes after it happened, Sorensen received a scholarship offer from the Cyclone coaches Thursday night after leaving campus.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Sorensen said he left Iowa State feeling very good about his performance and a follow-up call to Iowa State head coach Dan McCarney confirmed that.

He previously had offers from San Diego State and Wyoming. Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa are other schools showing interest in the running mate of Bryce McNaul, the other Eden Prairie linebacker who holds several offers - including one from ISU.
