Colleges are lining up for a shot at Gray

Back in March, although he had had an excellent junior season throwing for 2,170 yards and 25 touchdowns, Columbia, Mo., Rock Bridge quarterback Logan Gray was sitting on only four scholarship offers. Here we are in May and that number has already tripled with more coming in every day.


The 6-foot-2, 180-pound signal-caller has seen his stock skyrocket here lately.


"It's exciting. A couple of years ago I would have never of dreamed of this happening. It's a great experience. I'm trying to take it all in and be humble with it and learn from it," said Gray. "It's definitely getting busier and busier. Several schools have called me already and a couple have been coming by the school everyday.


"I've talked to coaches from Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Cal, North Carolina State, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas State, South Carolina and a few others."
