Iowa State offers Nebraska D-End

Small-town Nebraska used to be the exclusive territory of the mighty Husker program and its generous walk-on program. Now Nebraskans from burgs of many sizes are getting scholarship offers and most come from out of state. That's true for a Cozad (Neb.) defensive end with two Big 12 offers in hand after getting one from Iowa State. Jared Crick was a bit surprised by the offer he got from ISU.

Crick is 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds and claims a 4.8 time in the 40-yard dash. Along with Iowa State, he has an offer from Kansas and is receiving consistent interest and communication from Nebraska, Kansas State and Iowa, among others.
