FSU looking to Michigan for Rivals100 CB
You can add Michigan to the long list of states that Florida State is trying to conquer in the recruiting world. The target is Rivals100 cornerback Dionte Allen. The life long Seminole fan has received early scholarship offers from teams like FSU, Michigan, Texas, USC, Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Minnesota, but he's always liked the Garnet and Gold.
"I always wanted to go there," said Allen. "I like Peter Warrick and Deion Sanders. I talked to Coach Lilly and Coach Bowden a few times. They are real coaches and down to earth. I want to try and get down there and see how it is."
The St. Mary's High School star says he hopes to take a visit to FSU's campus before football season begins. Being less than an hour away from Ann Arbor, the Wolverines will be a tough to beat, but of all the other schools on his list the 'Noles might have the best shot of pulling him out of state.
"I like Michigan too because it's up here," said Allen. "It's going to be a hard decision, but I'll make the right one."
