Corsicana OL holding TCU offer

Corsicana, Texas, offensive lineman Courtney Green is on a fast track to becoming one of the Lone Star state's most sought after recruits. Green has been anchoring the line for one of the top 4A schools in the state and has been named all district for two consecutive seasons.


Now entering his third year as a starter on the offensive line, the 6-foot-4 285 pound Green is hearing from teams around the country and already has 5 offers in the fold from the likes of Baylor, Ole Miss, TCU, OSU, and LSU. Other teams like Oklahoma and Colorado State are showing the fleet lineman some increasing interest.


Early on in the process Green had stated that he would like to stay close to home but now that his offers are from far away as Mississippi he's starting to get second thoughts on his proximity factor.


"When I first started getting attention I wanted to stay close to home," he said. " Now that teams that aren't that close have offered I'm kind of thinking about it again. I would like to go somewhere and play early. I'm also looking at the classes and the type of facilities that a school has."
