Meeker visits Iowa City

Cedar Rapids Prairie offensive line Bryce Meeker remains one of the most sought after in-state recruits in the Class of 2015. That has led this talented junior to make a number of unofficial trips throughout this football season and that included Iowa for their game against Wisconsin this past weekend.

"I went to Nebraska, UNI, Iowa State, and now Iowa."

Iowa City will be hosting Meeker at least one more time before the year ends.

"I'm going to another Iowa game (against Michigan) and another Iowa State game to check out their University and meet with their coaches."

Meeker had fun seeing the Hawkeyes on Saturday.

"It went pretty good. We had breakfast with the coaches and I talked with Coach Morgan against and Brian Ferentz. The outcome of the game wasn't the best but it was still Big 10 football and it was nice to watch."

The Iowa coaches continue to preach to Meeker about being patient.

"They just really said they've been watching me. They know I've improved a lot and will watch my highlights and get back to me about recruiting and how it is going in the next couple of months."
