Hawks still watching Reynolds closely

Waukee offensive lineman Ross Reynolds remains among the top in-state targets left on the board for the Hawkeyes. Will the Iowa coaching staff offer? Reynolds had a chance to find out more about the situation and get an up-close look at the program on a recent visit to Iowa City.

Q: How was your visit to Iowa?

REYNOLDS: I thought it went awesome. It was nice to meet up with all the coaches and talk to everybody. It was nice to watch practice.

Q: What did you do during the day?

REYNOLDS: We got up there about 12:30 and then talked for a little bit. Then we went to the practice facility and they fed us. The strength coach, Chris Doyle, talked to us. Then we had position meetings and listened to those. We headed over to Kinnick and watched a practice.

Q: Did anything really stand out to you on the trip?

REYNOLDS: I thought it was all actually fun. It was nice to talk to the coaches again. It was nice to see them practice and how they run everything with those.

Q: Did they let you know where you sit in recruiting?

REYNOLDS: They said just to be patient because they are waiting for another tackle to commit. They need one more tackle to commit.
